SHIBARI WORKSHOPS

Our Sacred Tie Workshops are designed to give you a meaningful, hands-on experience with rope, connection, and personal growth. Each workshop creates a safe, supportive space where you can learn, explore, and open up at your own pace. Whether you’re discovering Shibari for the first time or expanding your skills, every session blends practical technique with mindful presence, emotional awareness, and a touch of creative expression. You’ll learn through guided practice, demonstrations, and real-time feedback—helping you build confidence, communicate clearly, and connect more deeply with yourself and your partner. These workshops are all about learning with intention, feeling grounded, and leaving with tools that support your life on and off the rope.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Every workshop has its own theme, but all are grounded within three guiding pillars:

SAFETY + CONSENT

Safety is always the starting point. Every lesson begins with clear communication, body awareness, and mutual respect so everyone feels grounded and supported. You’ll learn how to check in, set boundaries, and understand risks in a way that keeps the experience safe and empowering.

TECHNIQUE + SKILL

Here you’ll pick up practical tools you can use right away—from basic knots and clean wraps to more advanced harnesses and partial suspensions. Everything is taught step-by-step so it feels simple, clear, and immediately useful as you grow your practice.

ARTISTRY + EXPRESSION

Once the basics are solid, you’ll explore how rope becomes a form of expression. This section focuses on creating experiences that look beautiful and feel meaningful by blending intention, emotion, and flow into your ties. It’s where technique turns into art.

CURRENT SIGNATURE WORKSHOP

"FLIGHT PATH"

Our current signature workshop, Flight Path, is an 8-week journey designed to take you from floor-play foundations to Level 1 proficiency in partial suspensions. Partial suspension means half the body would be lifted. This is NOT a full suspension course.

Duration: 8 weeks, every other Saturday, 12 PM – 7 PM (24 hours of guided instruction).

Format:  Two 3-hour practice blocks per day, with a 1-hour meal/rest break.

Progression:  Floor ties → harnesses → "up lines" → first partial suspension → scene creation.

Requirements: A tying partner is required. Completion of Learn the Ropes or equivalent is strongly recommended in addition to our Safety & Consent class.

Class Size:  Limited to 8 couples for focused, individualized attention.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Learning Materials – Weekly handouts, reference guides, and safety resources.

CONSENT AS AN
ONGOING CONVERSATION

Consent is never assumed, never implied, and never permanent.
It is a living dialogue that shifts moment to moment.

OUR FOCUS:

INTENTIONS

Begin each session with a clear conversation about boundaries, comfort levels, and intentions.

COMMUNICATION

Encourage participants to voice their needs at any time — no explanation required.

BOUNDARIES

Honor “no,” “stop,” or “pause” as full sentences, respected immediately.

AGREEMENTS

Revisit agreements as the session unfolds, ensuring both partners remain aligned.
